General Manager - China Operation | Amsted Industries | Changhua City, CH09, China
Job Title: General Manager - Xinyang Burgess-Norton in Xinyang,
China (Henan Province)
This position will report to the Vice President of Operations for
Burgess Norton Mfg. Co. in the U.S. and be responsible for all plant
operations at BNYG.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Implement an integral strategy to grow the JV and achieve targeted
business objectives;
- Execute a capital spending plan and people plan to grow from existing
business levels to the next level within 5 years;
- Prepare annual sales forecasts and budgets for the operation;
- Facilitate weekly management meetings and monthly workshop employee
meetings to open the lines of communication;
- Create, implement and communicate monthly workshop targets;
- Direct operative functions (sales & marketing, finance, production,
quality, human resources);
- Together with engineering and quality, provide western levels of
product and process quality;
- Establish a continuous improvement culture within the JV;
- Develop relationship with local government as BN's key representative;
- Right size the business to balance people levels with capacity
requirements;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be able to speak English and Mandarin,
have a business and/or technical degree with 10-15 years of operational
experience and at least 5 years in a comparable leadership role in a
corporate manufacturing environment servicing the automotive industry or
comparable industry in China.
